Grange Barn Wedding Photographer: Josh and Danielle’s Unforgettable Wedding in Cheshire

When fate intertwines with a chance meeting on top of a mountain, the perfect match happens… Wedding photographer match that is!

Picture this: a scorching summer day, the rugged beauty of Tryfan mountain in North Wales, and two strangers crossing paths at a rest point. That’s how I first met Danielle. We ended up climbing the rest of the mountain together and after that day we kept in touch. Yet little did we know, our paths would intersect again, this time in the realm of wedding photography. Fast forward a couple of years, and Danielle found herself in need of a wedding photographer. And guess who she turned to? Yours truly.

And let me tell you, being entrusted to capture Josh and Danielle’s wedding day was already a joy in itself, but when they mentioned they’d booked their dream venue, Grange Barn, well, that was the icing on the cake! Tucked away in the picturesque village of Marbury on the Cheshire and Shropshire border, Grange Barn is a dream countryside setting well within travelling distance of my base in North Wales.

Grange Barn is a wedding photographer’s playground, offering a breathtaking blend of rustic charm and luxurious elegance. With its twinkling string lights and warm wood tones, it’s a veritable feast for the senses. Flooded with natural light, every corner of this beautiful venue made my job (selfishly) as a wedding photographer a breeze. Plus, the fantastic videography skills of Declan West ensured that every moment was beautifully captured for years to come.

After the ceremony, we snuck off to grab some couple shots outside on the beautiful countryside grounds, and even with the less-than-ideal rainy weather, we managed to find a charming rustic nook for some intimate couple shots, which added an extra layer of romance to their album.

From the cosy indoor barn ceremony to the lively dance floor antics, every part of Josh and Danielle’s wedding day at Grange Barn was a masterpiece waiting to be captured. With The Mac Bro’s spinning tunes that kept everyone grooving, the atmosphere crackled with excitement until the very last dance. 

As the sun dipped below the horizon and the stars emerged, we stole a moment out on the terrace to create the perfect prosecco spray highlight, capturing the fun and undeniable connection between Josh and Danielle which was easy to see.
