Alex and Amy’s beautiful Cheshire Wedding Photography
I first met Alex and Amy at a wedding fayre in North Wales. I was exhibiting and they were drinking red wine! From that moment, I knew we were the perfect match! We kept in touch and had the best time photographing their engagement party in Knutsford, and for their Snowdonia pre-wedding adventure shoot with wild ponies and RAF jets!
Alex and Amy’s Merrydale Manor Wedding in Knutsford was a truly luxurious wedding, with a black tie dress code and stunning floral decorations from Joseph Massie Flowers. Their (well, Amy’s) attention to detail was evident in every aspect of their big day, from the beautiful wedding dress to the fantastic entertainment that kept the party going all day and all night long.

Amy looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day with her incredible dress which perfectly complemented the Cheshire setting of Merrydale Manor. Her bridal shoes by Jimmy Choo completed the look. Alex was looking sharp in his Marc Darcy tux and Church’s shoes.

Alex and Amy exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family in the wedding ceremony room. Joseph Massie Flowers decorated the room from floor to ceiling with stunning arrangements, and The Rolling Keys played music throughout the ceremony.

Bride and Groom Photos at Merrydale Manor
Accompanied by Marry Me Films and The Tall Toastmaster, we took the bride and groom for their photos around this amazing Cheshire setting. I would never say being a wedding photographer is easy, but the grounds at Merrydale Manor and the beautiful surrounding countryside certainly made my job a little easier.

The Wedding Breakfast
Enough wedding photography. Time for the wedding breakfast! But not before a surprise for the guests. Alex and Amy had booked surprise singing waiters from Silver Service Singers to keep the bridal party and all the guests dancing. The Merrydale suite was bouncing! Singing waiters are always good fun and make for some really natural wedding photos.

After guests had finished eating and dancing, we were treated to a incredible sunset over this stunning Cheshire wedding venue. The landscaped gardens are great, but to get Alex and Amy amongst the sheep poo in Amy’s Jimmy Choo’s is more up my street! Off we went for a little walk and a dance as Alex and Amy got to spend their first moments alone(ish) on their special day.

The Evening Reception at Merrydale Manor
After we had finished with all the couples wedding photography, we headed back inside for the evening reception and first dance. The Rolling Keys stepped it up a gear this time, and they were sounding incredible. Genuinely one of the best wedding bands I have ever seen. Just after Mr Brightside had finished, I said my goodbyes.
