Hafod Farm Wedding Photographer
Hafod Farm is a venue I have had the pleasure of photographing a few times now, but when I arrived for Tom and Sioned’s wedding In October 2019, I was amazed by all the effort that the owners had gone to since the last time I visited. A new barn has been built with some lovely rustic touches, such as a huge wall of mirrors (not like a fun house… you’ll see what I mean in the pictures).
I made the journey through North Wales to Hafod Farm where Sioned and her bridal party were getting ready. The weather wasn’t quite on our side but as is always the way with North Wales weddings, you make the most with what you have. As always, the beatiful bride was calm, relaxed and ready to make that march down the aisle.
Hafod Farm Wedding Ceremony
The old barn at Hafod Farm is always beautifully decorated with many candles and subtle lights around the beams. Although a slighly challenging area to photograph due to not much daylight coming through the windows and the high ceilings, it is still one of my favourite wedding ceremony areas to photograph.
Sioned made her way down the aisle as she followed her bridesmaids where Tom waited and even shed a tear! Photographers love it when a groom shows genuine emotion!! I’m sure Sioned did too.
The ceremony was full of laughter and smiles as the bride and groom said I do, and then it was outside for confetti before the rain started.
Bride and Groom Wedding Photos at Hafod Farm
Once we had photographed all the family portraits inside the new barn, I took Tom and Sioned away so they could have some time alone, and also give us chance to make a start on their couples portraits. We even had an appearance from one of the dogs who lives at Hafod Farm! We were dodging the typical North Wales showers, but still managed to get some lovely photos.
The Wedding Breakfast and Speeches
So I mentioned earlier how much I loved the new barn at Hafod Farm and all the personal touches. It really is a lovely room for your wedding breakfast and speeches and looks amazing on your wedding photographs! Check out that wall of mirrors! Oh and the amazing spread but on my Anglesey Hog Roast! Without a doubt some of the best wedding food I have tasted in North Wales. The perks of being a wedding photographer hey!
Hafod Farm Evening Reception
After the amazing food and heartfelt speeches we were soon approaching the evening reception. I just had time to get a few more bride and groom wedding photos in before the evening guests arrived. Yep it was raining! I love a rainy wedding photo. It’s probably one of my favourite things about being a North Wales wedding photographer. Tom and Sioned had booked the Four Kicks band for their evening entertainment and they were amazing! Check out some of the moves on the dance floor!
Thank you so much Tom and Sioned for asking me to be your wedding photographer! I can’t wait to be back photographing weddings soon at Hafod Farm and all over North Wales.
